What do I want to be when I grow up ?......We are still working on learning about community helpers. We are learning about construction workers and the mail carrier. Parent Teacher Conferences Start really soon. Please watch your child’s book bag for your appointment date. Please try to keep your time we have a lot of parents to see. If for whatever reason you can not make it please call as soon as possible so we can reschedule. We want to give everyone on a chance to talk t us about your child’s progress.

I hope everyone was able to enjoy the few snow days. I hope everyone was safe in this crazy weather.

This week we will be continuing working on

learning about community helpers. We have also started talking about friendship and how we treat our friends. I will and have sent sheets home with discussion points for your and your child. You are more than welcome to do the activities with your child and send it back in. Just tell your child it is their homework. We will send it back home with a sticker. They are very proud of their work and so are we.

We will be having a friendship party on Feb 10th. You are more than welcome to send treats to the party. If you send Valentines Card, please only fill out the from part. Our students can not read names yet and for timing we want all students to have an opportunity to pass out their cards. Each class as 20 students. So please send enough for 20 students. All

families are more than welcome to join in our friendship celebration. A lot of information will be coming home in folders for the next few weeks. Please make sure you are checking them every week.

We are also missing a lot of library books. Please check make sure you are returning them so your child can check out another one. If you have not returned a book a notice will be in your child’s folder.
