Ethnicity

• A group of people whose members identify with each other through a common heritage often consisting of a common ideology that stresses common ancestry

• Examples:• African American• Kurd• Arab• French

• Not everyone has an ethnicity they identify with, especially in diverse countries

them, although some are all one religion• Some religious groups are tribal or very specific
