What differences do you notice?
Annotate the image with differences (colour code according to type of difference – residential, leisure, environment, transport etc)
Find three obvious differences/changes and think about why they might have occurred

• Place tracing paper over your map and draw on some of the changes that you would like to see happen (your preferred changes)
• Repeat for those changes that you think will happen (probable changes)
• How can we encourage children to think that their preferred changes might occur and discuss which would be most socially and environmentally beneficial
