Builders
Association
Our loyal WFBA members came through again for this year's 22nd annual golf outing held at Lake Arrow-head Golf Course in Ne-koosa. Yet again we dodged all those rain days we have had in the past months and had an abso-lutely beautiful day. We maintained our attendance levels this year and we owe that to our active members who support our organization. I would also like to thank all of our great vendors who spon-sored this event again this year. They play a large role in making this event possible.
For all of you that were
not able to attend, a few
items were announced at
the prize ceremony.
- Next Year's golf outing to be held at Fox Fire Golf Course in Waua-paca - The fiscal year for the WFBA will be changed from Oct 1st - Sept. 30th to Jan 1st - Dec. 31st - Recap on the new membership drive. Buy one year get one year free. - NFBA update from NFBA Chairman Larry Edema. - Looking for poten-tial board member posi-tions to be filled at the upcoming annual confer-ence. Be sure to keep an eye on our website for more in-
formation on this year's Annual Conference and Tour to be located at the Radisson Hotel & Confer-ence Center @ Oneida Ca-sino in Green Bay. We will be hosting another great year of interesting tour stops, trade show with spotlight events, thrilling entertainment, and very informative conference break-out sessions. Change to WFBA Fiscal Year End
The question has come up
many times as to why the
WFBA operates on a fiscal
year of October through
September instead of Janu-
ary through December.
The current Board of Direc-
tors decided that it made
sense to address the
change at the 2011 WFBA
Golf Outing.
The option to change to a
January through December
fiscal year was presented
to the members, who
unanimously agreed and
voted to change to the
January through December
fiscal year. This change
goes into effect immedi-
ately.

Do yourself a favor and don’t miss this years’ event! We look forward to seeing you there!!!
The 22nd Annual WFBA Golf Outing
was held at Lake Arrowhead Golf
Course in Nekoosa, WI on Wednesday,
August 10. And yet again, we had a
great turn-out!
For the first time in a long time the
weather was a bit more tolerable then
in years past. The breeze that
seemed to be quite inconsistent was
either your enemy or your best friend!
A huge thank you goes out to all who
participated and also to the members
who either sponsored a hole, donated
money for door prizes or supplied the
event with a door prize! Believe it or
not, the big hit for a door prize this
year was a 5’ tall stuffed bear! Our
biggest mistake was not getting any
pics of it! Hopefully our door prize
shopper (Darcy) will remember it
again for next year!
course is the Waupaca Ale House and
Foxfire Comfort Suite Motel.
All of the members of the WFBA ap-
preciate all the hospitality that we
have received over the past few
years at Lake Arrowhead! We have
lots of great memories there and
perhaps will have the opportunity to
hold our event in Nekoosa again in
the future.
You spoke and we listened!
The 2012 Golf Outing is being moved
