WebFOCUS also integrates with existing security inrastructures. It

silently exchanges credentials with industry-standard Web

authentication packages or single sign-on across the enterprise.

Credentials may be stored in LDAP directories, DBMS environments, or

at the operating system layer. Users can be challenged or credentials

at any point in processing – at system, portal, Web server, or database
