WHAT IS WEZ?
• The “Well Engineering Zero Club”
• A VOLUNTARY informal gathering. • People who:
are involved in Well Engineering Operations. want to make a difference. share one goal - ZERO Accidents.
• A way of SHARING experiences.

Why DO WE NEED WEZ?
• To help to build Team Spirit.• A fresh approach to communication.• It gives everyone the opportunity to speak.• It is an opportunity to understand others views.• A way to show we want & value everyone’s opinion.• It removes all barriers (Language, Seniority, Culture...)
• Gives control & ownership to worksite teams.• It is a break to the work routine.• A great way to relieve stress.

• A relaxed atmosphere.

IDEAS FOR RUNNING WEZ CLUB (Successfully):
• Select a focal point.
• Ask for assistance from the WEZ support team.
• Decide what time and how often. (suggestion: evening meal time, mid tour)
• Have it at the camp.
• Sit on wadi mats. (Informal)
• Have food at the end of the gathering. (BBQ…)

• Use jokes, drama, stories, personal experiences and pictures.
• Display incidents using re-enactments (acting)
• Avoid controversial issues.
• Focus on trying to solve problems.

• Take photographs of your gatherings.

• Essar rig of the month on numerous occasions.
• Highest score in a DTL sustainability audit.
