WeTech Technovation Teams

WeTech, in partnership with Technovation, offered the Technovation Challenge to 60 middle and high schools students in Bangalore, India. The girls were mentored by 24 team leads from Goldman Sachs and Qualcomm for over 12 weeks, starting in February 2014. Each team identified a problem in their community and designed a mobile app to address the issue. They also created business plans to develop their entrepreneurial skills and presented their prototypes through demo videos. All teams have submitted their app ideas and business plan for the world global event scheduled for June 18, 2014 in San Francisco Bay Area.
