How can we help you?

We can help you: – save money every day – you can do most of your banking

for free.

– with more ways to access your money with the Westpac Debit MasterCard®.

– make the most of your savings with savings accounts that encourage you to save more.

– have a bit of extra credit when you need it, with a credit card* and/or an interest free overdraft*.

– take care of your belongings with car and contents insurance.

Studying full-time?When you’re studying full-time, it’s important to keep everything else in life as simple as you can – like the money side of things. You don’t want to stress about bank charges or the odd cash crisis – you want a bank that understands what being a student is like. That’s why we’ve created Student Pac. It can help simplify things and keep costs down – it may even mean you have a bit of extra cash when you need it.

To find out more see page 6.

Recently graduated?Congratulations! Even though things are changing, it’s still important to have a banking package that keeps things simple and gives you the flexibility you need. A Graduate Pac can help keep costs down, and offers you extra support while you’re getting established. Like access to extra credit (just in case) or a loan to help you make those larger purchases, such as a new car or furniture.

To find out more see page 8.

* Westpac’s current lending criteria and terms and conditions apply to all applications and transfers.

What happens after the first year?Graduate Pac discounts are designed to help you get established in the year following graduation. After that, you’ll automatically move on to an Electronic transaction account. Like your Easy Access graduate account, with your Electronic account, transactions are free. And if you stop your printed statements via online banking, you’ll pay no monthly account maintenance fee^. Any overdraft you have will shift to the current standard interest rate.

Who can get Graduate Pac?You can apply for a Graduate Pac if you’re a New Zealand resident and within the last 12 months you’ve completed and qualified in an NZQA-approved tertiary course that took at least one semester (minimum 12 weeks). But of course if you already have a Student Pac, you don’t need to apply. We’ll automatically move you on to a Graduate Pac when your course is due to end. All you need to do is let us know if your circumstances change. There’s more about Graduate Pac – what it costs and how to apply – over the page.
