(www.westfaliausa.com), a leading provider of logistics solutions for plants, warehouses and distribution centers since 1992, announced today that it has been selected by the Sazerac Company, one of the largest family-owned distilling companies in the United States, to install Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (AS/RSs) and Savanna.NET® Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) software in two of its Kentucky distilleries: Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort and The Glenmore Distillery in Owensboro. The Sazerac Company is the first U.S. spirits supplier to use AS/RS technology. Westfalia will install its Satellite® technology at both sites. Notably, this technology eliminates moving parts in the rack structure and allows greater throughput with less machinery, resulting in lower energy consumption and system maintenance costs. When coupled with Westfalia’s Savanna.NET® WMS, the system delivers the ultimate in warehouse automation with complete material flow control, order management, reporting, logging and more. At Buffalo Trace, the new 83,000 square foot warehouse addition will store approximately 10,000 pallets with room for expansion. The 223,000 square foot distribution center to be constructed at Glenmore will be dedicated to the storage and processing of palletized and layer-picked orders. Groundbreaking at both sites is scheduled for April 30th. Mark Brown, president and chief executive officer of Sazerac Company, said, “We are very proud we are able to continue to invest in our future. Through our partnership with Westfalia

Westfalia Technologies to Install Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems in Two Sazerac Distilleries

Installations Mark the First Use of AS/RS Technology by a U.S. Spirits Supplier

York, Pa. -- April 22, 2014 -- Westfalia Technologies, Inc. (www.westfaliausa.com), a leading provider

of logistics solutions for plants, warehouses and distribution centers since 1992, announced today that

it has been selected by the Sazerac Company, one of the largest family-owned distilling companies in

the United States, to install Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (AS/RSs) and Savanna.NET®

Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) software in two of its Kentucky distilleries: Buffalo Trace

Distillery in Frankfort and The Glenmore Distillery in Owensboro. The Sazerac Company is the first U.S.

spirits supplier to use AS/RS technology.

Westfalia will install its Satellite® technology at both sites. Notably, this technology eliminates moving

parts in the rack structure and allows greater throughput with less machinery, resulting in lower energy

consumption and system maintenance costs. When coupled with Westfalia’s Savanna.NET® WMS, the

system delivers the ultimate in warehouse automation with complete material flow control, order

management, reporting, logging and more.

At Buffalo Trace, the new 83,000 square foot warehouse addition will store approximately 10,000
