    AbOut thE CONfERENCEThe Western Protective Relay Conference (WPRC) is an educational forum for the presentation and discussion of broad and detailed technical aspects of protective relaying and related subjects. Approximately 550 people attend, mostly from the western United States.

    This forum allows participants to learn and apply advanced technologies that prevent electrical power failures. Speakers are invited to present papers selected by a group of protective relaying experts.

    VENDOR SuItESAn extra feature of the conference is time provided each evening at the Red Lion Hotel at the Park to visit with vendors who bring products and exhibits. Manufacturers of products or firms with services wishing to host hospitality suites in conjunction with the Western Protective Relay Conference are required to contact WSU Conference Management to:

    (1) Register at least one person from your firm with WSU. Additional personnel from your company are welcome to attend the conference at the regular registration fee.

    (2) Obtain information on reserving a hospitality suite during the conference.

    (3) Provide a three-sentence description of your firm for the display board.

    The conference vendor fee is $450 and includes full registration for one person from your firm and listing on the Conference Exhibitors Display and Location Map (if registered by October 2). Vendor fees go to support the last day door-prize giveaway.

    CONtINuINg EDuCAtION uNItSThis conference has been approved for 2.4 WSU Continuing Education Units (CEUs). CEUs are available to participants who attend the entire conference. CEUs are nationally recognized noncredit units of achievement that may be used as evidence of professional development and job advancement. One CEU represents each 10 hours of conference program.
