Dear Parents/Carers, As you can see from this issue of our newsleer the children have had some fantasc opportunies to experience a whole range of different acvies this term. I would like to thank you all for your connued support of our school and our Family Fun Day was really well aended. I understand that some of you have shared your connued frustraons around the issues that we have had with parking and transport over the last year. I can assure you that I am working hard with the Local Authority to find some permanent resoluons to the problems that we have had this year. Again, I would like to thank you for your paence and understanding and I will keep you all informed of any progress that we make. Finally, I hope that you all appreciate that as a school we connue to provide the best possible support that we can for all of your children. However, if you do have any concerns please contact your childs teacher and arrange an appointment so that we can carry on working together to achieve posive outcomes for our young people. I hope that you all enjoy the summer break and I look forward to seeing you all on September 4th. Kind Regards Miss Andrioli We are saying goodbye to lots of staff this term Miss Brown, Mr Lord, Miss Scrogham, Mrs Bourton, Mrs Bya, Mr Holding, Miss Evans, Mrs Colton, Dr Price Mrs Sharma and Mrs Kilvert. We wish them lots of luck and best wishes for the future! We welcome 2 new Parent Governors. Mrs Guy who is the parent of Georgia and Mr Wevil who is the parent of Aaron. Please remember that in September there is sll a parking ban on the school carpark at the start of the school day and the end of the school day. Thank you for your co-operaon. Westcroft School Newsletter July-August 2019 On the 7th of June, pupils and staff came to school in their PJs for Pyjamarama Day. We raised over £145 for the charity Booktrust who want to ensure that every child in the country has a bedme story. We all had a great day and managed not to fall asleep! Dear Parents/Carers,

As you can see from this issue of our newsletter the children have had some fantastic

opportunities to experience a whole range of different activities this term.

I would like to thank you all for your continued support of our school and our Family Fun Day

was really well attended.

I understand that some of you have shared your continued frustrations around the issues that

we have had with parking and transport over the last year. I can assure you that I am working

hard with the Local Authority to find some permanent resolutions to the problems that we have had this year. Again, I would like

to thank you for your patience and understanding and I will keep you all informed of any progress that we make.

Finally, I hope that you all appreciate that as a school we continue to provide the best possible support that we can for all of your

Newsletter July-August 2019

On the 7th of June, pupils and staff came to school in

their PJs for Pyjamarama Day. We raised over £145 for

the charity Booktrust who want to ensure that every child

in the country has a bedtime story. We all had a great day

and managed not to fall asleep!

WVTC

Wolverhampton Vocational Training Centre (WVTC) is a unique post 16 provision based in

Ettingshall, Wolverhampton. Set up as a Free school in 2015, we are part of the Central

Learning Partnership Trust and are closely linked to Westcroft School. Our aims are to help

prepare our students for the world of work or further education in Vocational subjects

they are interested in. We are a small centre catering exclusively for students with an

Education & Health Care Plan. Our hands on, practical based curriculum offers a range of

Vocational subjects including, but not limited to: Motor Vehicle & Cycle Maintenance,

Construction including Carpentry, Painting & Decorating and Brickwork, Hair & Beauty,

Animal Care, Hospitality & Catering, ICT, Horticulture, Sports Leadership, Childcare &

Health & Social Care. Also included in our curriculum are lessons in English, Maths,

Employability & Personal Effectiveness, Skills for Working Life, Independent Living Skills

and Travel Training.
