The band played music and the ‘Ettes greeted the par- ents and future Falcons while they enter into the audi- torium. The orchestra played music in the hallway with platters of food on the table. The West Administration, CACTC along with the school activities and academic departments hosted an open house where they informed incoming students and par- ents what classes and programs the school offers. In the opinion of a parent looking at the culinary pro- gram, Colleen Warren said, “A pretty intense course but it looks fun.” She is a parent looking at the vocational school. The parents and students met teachers at the booths asking them questions on what they offer for classes. The current students were enthused on telling parents and future students what they do outside of classes. “It’s a pretty good experience for the freshmen, It gives them a good idea for the future of sports and classes,” said current 11th grader, Cameron Bent, who was run- ning the lacrosse booth. “This open house is a great chance for Incoming stu- dents and parents to see all the great things going on at west,” said Mr. Montanaro who ran the band booth with the band officers and drum majorettes. On Sunday January 25, the annual West Winter Open House welcomed Cranston 8th graders and parents. The band played music and the ‘Ettes greeted the par-ents and future Falcons while they enter into the audi-torium. The orchestra played music in the hallway with platters of food on the table.
