  • Determining Course Readiness Achievement Data These types of data include TCAPs, Explore, PLAN, ACT, etc. Course grades Grades achieved in previous courses are strong indicators of a students ability level. Teacher recommendation Teachers must recommend a student for the next level in course work. This is an extremely important factor because teachers can weigh extenuating circumstance, student behavior, motivation level, etc. This allows a teacher to recommend a level up or down from the students current level in a subject.
