Determining Course Readiness Achievement Data These types of
data include TCAPs, Explore, PLAN, ACT, etc. Course grades Grades
achieved in previous courses are strong indicators of a students
ability level. Teacher recommendation Teachers must recommend a
student for the next level in course work. This is an extremely
important factor because teachers can weigh extenuating
circumstance, student behavior, motivation level, etc. This allows
a teacher to recommend a level up or down from the students current
level in a subject.
