This has reference to the implementation of Per Drop More Crop component of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSYshyPDMC) which is a flagship scheme being implemented in the country since the year 2015-2016 This is an extremely important programme for enhancing water use efficiency through n1icro irrigation

2) The PMKSY- Per Drop More Crop mainly focuses on enhancing water use efficiency at farm level through precisionmicro irrigation (Drip and Sprinkler Irrigation) Besides promoting precision irrigation and better on-farm water management practices to optimize the use of available water resources this component also supports micro level water storage or water conservationmanagement activities to supplement Micro Irrigation The 01 activities must be linked with Micro Irrigation for higher water use efficiency

3) It is to inform that this Department is compiling the year-wise information of the 01 activities taken up under PDMC scheme and its linking with Micro Irrigation for the potential use
