This makes the stove a unique part of your home.

Weltevree stoves are designed, engineered and produced in the Netherlands. Our products are of a high quality in material and function and distinctive in design: a Weltevree stove is a well-functioning heater with a high efficiency but also a beautiful object – even with out a fire..

Home is where the stove isWeltevree stoves is een onderdeel van het productlabel Weltevree en gespecialiseerd in het ontwikkelen van duurzame, houtgestookte kachels. In deze catalogus presenteren we onze collectie, die van een huis een thuis maakt.

Al onze kachels zijn houtgestookt naast dat dit een prettige warmte geeft geloven wij in hout als een duurzaam en lokaal geproduceerde energiebron. Wij zien het als een meerwaarde om zelf hout te hakken, een vuur te maken en zo een heel directe relatie aan te gaan met je eigen leefomgeving. Dit maakt de kachel een bijzonder onderdeel van je huis.

Weltevree stoves worden in Nederland ontworpen, ontwikkeld en geproduceerd. Onze producten zijn van hoge kwaliteit in materiaal en functie en brengen sfeer: een Weltevree stove is een goed functionerende kachel met een hoog rendement maar ook een mooi object, zowel brandend als niet brandend.

Weltevree’s liefde voor kachelsWeltevree heeft een liefde voor kachels: wij ontwikkelen houtgestookte kachels en kooktoestellen, voor binnen en buiten. We onderzoeken de verschillende functies en behoeftes, en samen met ontwerpers werken we onze ideeën uit tot een product. Het ontwikkelen en testen van de prototypes gebeurt binnen Weltevree in samenwerking met externe experts. Zo vergroten we onze kennis op het gebied van efficiënte verbranding, accumulatie en warmte- circulatie. Voor de productie kiezen we Nederlandse partners: het directe contact is belangrijk voor een intensieve samenwerking en we maken graag gebruik van lokaal vakmanschap. Zo worden de keramieken tegels van onze Tilestoves gemaakt door Koninklijke Tichelaar Makkum, het oudste familiebedrijf van Nederland. Moors ovenbouw is de specialist als het gaat om de vuurvaste interieurs van onze kachels.

Dick van HoffDe Stonestove, een ontwerp van Dick van Hoff, is de eerste kachel uit de Stove collectie. De Stonestove is de aanleiding van de samenwerking tussen Dick van Hoff en Floris Schoonderbeek, die in 2007 resulteerde in het bedrijf Weltevree. De Stonestove is een goed voorbeeld van de werkwijze van van Hoff: een functioneel en duurzaam product dat een hele directe relatie aangaat met de gebruiker. Een product dat haast vergeten waarden vertaalt naar deze tijd met een vormgeving die hij zelf omschrijft als ‘industrieel maatwerk’. De Weltevree kachels zijn vanuit verschillende aanleidingen ontstaan, en met de keuze in materiaal en functie vertellen ze elk een eigen verhaal. Zo ontstond de Outdooroven vanuit de behoefte om buiten te kunnen koken en pizza’s te bakken, en werd het een robuuste tuinkachel die het hele jaar buiten kan staan.

De Raboeskachel was een opdracht voor een specifieke locatie: een grote hal die snel opgewarmd moet kunnen worden, maar ook met de behoefte om daarna te genieten van de prettige warmte die het beton uitstraalt. Het beton slaat de warmte van het vuur op en geeft het langzaam af aan de ruimte. De complementaire delen van staal en beton laten de gebruiker in één oogopslag zien hoe de kachel werkt - een eigenschap die alle ontwerpen van van Hoff in zich hebben.


Weltevree loves stoves We develop wood-burning stoves and cookers, for indoor and outdoor use. We explore the different functions and needs, and together with designers turn our ideas into a product. By developing and testing the prototypes in collaboration with external experts, we increase our know-ledge in the field of efficient combustion, accumulation and circulation. For production we choose Dutch partners: the direct contact is important for an intensive partnership and we like to use local expertise. The ceramic tiles of our Tilestoves for example, are made by Royal Tichelaar Makkum - the oldest family business in the Netherlands. The company Suplacon is our specialist when it comes to sheet metal of the stoves. Dick van HoffThe Stonestove, designed by Dick van Hoff, was the first stove in the Weltevree collection. The Stonestove is the start of the collaboration with Floris Schoonderbeek, which resulted in the company Weltevree in 2007.The Stonestove is a good example of the way van Hoff works: a functional and durable product that connects very directly with the user. A product that translates almost forgotten values to this time, with a design that he describes as ‘industrial customization’.The Weltevree stoves are designed for different needs and they tell their own story with the choice of material and function. The Outdooroven for example came from the desire to cook outdoors and became a robust outdoor stove that you can leave outside all year round. The Raboes stove was a project for a specific location: a large hall that needs to be heated quickly but also the need to enjoy the pleasant warmth of the concrete which stores and gradulally emits the heat of the fire. The complementary parts of steel and concrete make it obvious how the stove works - a trait that all van Hoff designs have.

Accumulating concrete stoveAccumulerende betonkachelThe working of the Stonestove is based on the accumulative capacity of concrete: the refractory concrete casing works as a battery and the heat of the fire is distributed indirectly and evenly through the concrete. This creates a soft and constant warmth, even if the fire temporarily dies.De werking van de Stonestove is gebaseerd op het accumulerend vermogen van beton: de vuurvaste, betonnen bekleding werkt als een accu en de warmte van het vuur wordt indirect en gelijkmatig afgegeven via het beton. Smoke channelRookkanaalThe stove has a high efficiency because of the ingenious smoke channel: instead of just looping from front to back, this smoke channel has an extra loop going downward. There the smoke is split in two separate streams so the hot air comes in contact with the whole of the absorbing surface for optimum heat transfer to the concrete.De kachel heeft een hoog rendement door het slimme rookkanaal: deze maakt naast een lus van voor naar achter ook een extra lus naar beneden. Performance PrestatieThe construction of the internal flue in combination with the position of the various features makes the Cookstove optimally functional. The fire burns in the combustion chamber and a horizontally guided airflow heats the plate above the combustion chamber, which can be used for cooking. The slightly cooled air then flows around the oven that can be used for baking. Finally, the strongly cooled air leaves the Cookstove through the stovepipe. De constructie van het interne rookkanaal in combinatie met de positie van de verschillende functies maakt de Cookstove optimaal functioneel. Het vuur brandt in de verbrandingskamer en een horizontale luchtstroom verwarmt de plaat boven de

Smoke channel RookkanaalAn important aspect of the Raboeskachel is smart concrete flue. The channel is composed of several rings where the warm air slowly rotates upwards. The refractory concrete rings work as a battery and the heat of the fire is distributed indirectly and evenly through the concrete. This creates a soft and constant warmth.

Een belangrijk aspect van de Raboeskachel is het slimme betonnen rookkanaal. Het kanaal is opgebouwd uit diverse ringen waar de warme lucht langzaam langs omhoog roteert, waardoor de betonnen delen opwarmen en geleidelijk de warmte weer afgeven aan de omgeving.

When placing the stove, a flue pipe and flue pipe bushing need to be present. You can have your installer contact us directly to discuss the technical specifications.
