Product Description WellMonitor PCP is the optimum monitoring solution for PCP applications, providing accurate pressure, temperature and tri‐axis vibration measurements at surface via a high speed digital communication system. Multiple gauges can be run on a single instrument cable in addition to a dual pressure gauge for measuring pump intake and discharge pressure. Reservoir monitoring and PCP protection are combined into one high value solution. Down‐hole Gauge The gauge is designed to perform reliably in the high vibration environment of PCP monitoring applications and the gauge cable head and connection can be pressure tested prior to deployment in the well. The gauge is normally held in a carrier which is clamped to the tubing where it measures the fluid pressure and temperature going into the pump and also the vibration characteristics of the pump. A carrier is also available for the dual pressure gauge which provides porting to the tubing string and to the annulus. An instrument cable is connected to the top of the gauge and is normally banded to the tubing and protected across the raised faces of the tubing joints and collars by cross coupling cable protectors. Surface Equipment The surface equipment is a compact and modular design that is easy to configure for varying customer requirements. The simplest configuration requires one small DIN rail mounted interface board to be mounted inside the customer’s VSD or switchboard enclosure. This board powers the gauge, decodes the signal from the gauge, provides a digital RS 485 Modbus output and has an optional removable memory logging module with real time clock. If one or more analogue outputs of any of the down‐hole parameters are required, then one or more DIN rail mounted analogue boards are simply connected to the interface board on the DIN rail. An optional LCD screen that plugs into the Modbus RS 485 port is also available. An Integrated Surface Module combining an OLED display, memory logging and surface interface in an IP66 enclosure is available for installation outside the VSD. Product Description The WellMonitor PCP surface junction box is used to connect between the down‐hole gauge cable coming from the wellhead and the armoured surface cable that connects to the WellMonitor PCP surface interface equipment. Where possible, the junction boxes are usually located outside the explosion proof zone around the wellhead. The junction boxes are IP 66 rated for outdoor use and are supplied with cable glands for the application. A surge suppressor is normally fitted inside each junction box in order to protect against power surges that may damage the down‐hole gauge. Junction boxes are also available for connecting between most types of wellhead sensors and the WellMonitor PCP surface interface equipment or RTU. One example is the 4 way junction box that will connect 3 analogue sensor cables into one 6 conductor cable, reducing the number of cables that are run at the wellsite. Product Description
The WellMonitor PCP Integrated Surface Module (ISM) combines a high resolution OLED display with two removable 2 Gb Micro SD card loggers and a PCP Surface Interface Card (SIC) in an external IP 66 rated enclosure. The module is normally positioned on the outside of the customer’s variable frequency drive or switchboard enclosure. The SIC provides power for up to two single or dual pressure WellMonitor PCP gauges, two relay controllers for alarms and trips and a 10 bit 4 to 20 mA analogue output. The OLED display provides better visibility in bright sunlight than a LCD display. It can be programmed to power down at a timed interval in order to extend the life of the display in harsh environments, reduce the display’s energy consumption or hide the displayed data from public view. The display is re‐activated using a magnet. The display will show trended data for any of the monitored parameters. The two Micro SD cards both record any of the gauge parameters that are set up to be displayed. They store over one year of high frequency gauge and VSD data which can be read from the memory card by Microsoft Excel or other compatible spreadsheet software. The ISM has a programmable RS 485 Modbus RTU master port, one RS 485 Modbus slave port, one isolated analogue output port, one engineer’s port and an optional Bluetooth wireless data connection. The ISM can be programmed to poll any modbus RTU slave device, displaying the data on the OLED display and passing the data on to the data logger to be permanently recorded. In this way time stamped downhole gauge data and VSD data can be stored on the memory card where it is available for downloading into standard spreadsheet software for viewing and graphing. The unit is programmed via PC software and all settings are stored in a PC setup file which allows the operator to clone the settings in order to set up multiple ISM modules. All data captured by the ISM is also made available on its slave port for either remote SCADA or local use.

Product Description The WellMonitor™ PCP surface equipment is compact, modular and easy to configure for varying customer requirements. The simplest configuration requires one small DIN rail mounted SIC interface board to be installed inside the customer’s variable frequency drive or switchboard enclosure. This board sends power to the gauge, decodes the signal from the gauge, provides a digital RS 485 Modbus output and carries an optional removable memory logging module with real time clock. The SIC also has 2 relay drivers that will provide alarm and trip signals. If one or more analogue outputs of any of the down‐hole parameters are required, then one or more DIN rail mounted analogue boards are connected to the interface board on the DIN rail.
An optional LCD screen that plugs into the Modbus RS 485 port is also available. The modules are also available mounted inside a NEMA 4 (IP65) enclosure that can be located outside the customer’s variable frequency drive or switchboard.
The WellMonitor™ PCP interface board is also able to power and process the signal from the WellMonitor™ PCP Light pressure gauge.

Product Description The armored surface cable, two conductor cable is a complete self‐contained field bus communication solution for use in harsh environments. It is flexible and its impervious armor prevents the entrance of water, gas, and corrosive elements into the electrical core. It can be installed in tray, duct, conduit, self‐supported, or in direct burial applications.
