WeldQ has two sides – Administration & ClientsAdministration side is for creating and configuring
programs, setting fee, allocating users to roles, management of applications, administering examinations, management of awards, etc
Clients side is for the community of welders and welding professionals to create accounts within WeldQ, apply for qualifications or certifications, manage their profile, access their certifications through mobile app

Preliminary Assessment Application received and checked by Program
Coordinator; If anything is amiss, the PC contacts the applicant through email, obtains the correct information, records and updates the application. Application can be edited by PC (Also by SU/AA/PM). PC then releases the
applicant to the Program Assessor. Application is then locked from further edits
AssessmentProgram Assessor assesses the application and selects the modules that are applicable, leaves
assessment report/comments; PC notified
Assessment OutcomeProgram Coordinator notifies assessment
outcome to the applicant; releases the appropriate module fees for payment;
Applicant receives the assessment report with a link to pay the examination fees
Payment ReceiptPC is notified upon successful payment receipt; PC sets date for the exam and releases one or
more examinations to the applicant (online) or sends the exam papers to the invigilator (P&P)

Anyone can sign up for an account in WelQ Users fill a form, validate their email ID and create a password A WeldQ ID is created automatically and emailed to the user
External users can access WeldQ through a browser or a mobile app (editing their profiles & lodging applications can only
be done through the browser version)
They can login and edit their profile, educational qualifications, work experience and professional development records

Mobile apps have been developed for iOS & Android platforms
It is specifically designed for the external users to view notifications, seek prolongation or revalidation of welder qualifications, view documents shared with them, view awards (certificates)
The mobile apps will serve as authenticated platforms for employers to check as well as the external users to claim their certifications
This will save plastic cards to be issued and reissued whenever additional certifications are obtained
