Welcome We are thrilled you have chosen to find out more about Grand Island Baptist Church.
We believe there is more to this life than simply living for ourselves with a day to day perspective. We are living for Jesus with an eternal view in mind.
God has a plan for you which begins through a relationship with Jesus Christ. He died for your sins. It is our prayer that you have accepted His gift of eternal life and are living for Him daily. Let us know if you would like to know more about Jesus and His church in Grand Island.
Thanks for worshiping with us today!

Welcome to summer! We have officially passed through half of the year, and part of me still thinks it should be February. Time flies when you’re having fun serving the Lord!
I want to take a moment to share with you some of great things I see God doing in the life of His church in Grand Island.
Discipleship. I’m seeing people desiring to go deeper in their relationship with God. Bible Fellowships on Sunday mornings are growing with new groups and new people getting involved. You should consider being a part of this great time of learning and fellowshipping on Sunday mornings at 9:15.
Service. There are so many of our people who are serving the Lord outside of the lights and the stage. They are sharing their faith in Christ, taking people to doctors’ appointments, changing diapers, trimming trees, painting buildings, providing meals, watching kids, and so much more. We don’t celebrate these folks enough – but we appreciate their service!
Outreach. We have visitors inviting visitors to come to worship with them! We have seen an increase in those who have interest in the Lord and GIBC over these last few months. The Cross has given us a conversation starter, and GIBC has been talking! Phone calls, letters, and visits to homes and hospitals are the back bone of letting people know we care.
Growth. Numbers don’t always tell the whole story, but they are part of the story. Giving has been strong through the first half of the year, and we have seen an increase in guests on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. Families, young and old, are coming to GIBC!
Possibilities. What will God do next? Whatever He decides to do, let us be ready to follow His lead. Are you a part of what is happening at GIBC? You don’t have to be on the sideline, you can be involved in making a difference for the Kingdom of God in one of these areas. Don’t miss the blessing of being used by God for His glory!
Pastor Don
HOW DO I JOIN GIBC?
If you would like to become a part of the GIBC family, please contact Pastor Don or the church office. Pastor Don always visits with those who desire church membership before they are presented to the church. This is an informal time of getting to know one another and talking about the Lord.
