Slide 4 Coming Events Parent Night for Grade 7 Students at DP Todd April 4 th 7:00 Skipping Demo Team performs at Peden Hill and Lac deBois on Thursday Happy Easter Red Cedar Battle of the Books Tuesday GOOD LUCK TEAM!! Slide 5 Thank You Thank you to all teachers and students for practicing and participating in the Code Red drill. The school hallways were empty and the rooms so very quiet!! Remember the most important things are to get to the closest room, stay quiet and out of sight. Slide 6 Welcome Welcome to Mr. Morrison who will be teaching Grade 4 in Mrs. Jacksons class for the remainder for the year. We would also like to welcome Mrs. Habchi who will be in Mrs. Altons room beginning after Easter break. Slide 7 Heritage Goes Green Thank you to our PAC for their generosity!! Teachers gave out new Heritage Hawks T- shirts this Monday morning!! All staff and students met on the black top at recess for a Green school group picture!! Slide 8 Spirit Fridays We would like to celebrate school spirit at Heritage by wearing our Heritage shirts every Friday, or Thursday on short weeks. So wear your Heritage Green!! Slide 9 Playground Equipment Will be given out after the paved area of the playground is swept up of winter gravel. Please take care of the equipment Remember to bring it back to class after recess/lunch NO equipment is to go out after school Slide 10 Aprils Virtue Courage is the discovery that you may not win, and trying when you know you can lose. Slide 11 Slide 12 What are some Ways You Can Show Courage? Do the right thing, even if others are not. Bravely deal with your daily challenges. Be willing to try new things, even if you might fail Tell the truth regardless of the consequences. Face your fears and work to overcome them. Admit your mistakes and learn from them. Do not give into negative peer pressure.
