- Reading Time either as a whole class or group focusing on
vocabulary and comprehension
- Holes, Who let the Gods out, War Horse
- If we have parent volunteers we will build this into our timetable
- At home:
- Daily reading at home, please discuss their reading with your child.

Reading Challenge is included in the children’s Home School
Organiser
English teachers will check this weekly, recorded, and email sent
home if reading is not done or recorded

ONLINE SAFETY IN SCHOOL
All children will be given a log on and password to be able to use the laptop computers in
school.
If you could support your child by talking to them about the importance of keeping passwords safe it would support their learning in school.
There are a variety of age appropriate texts that can be used as discussion around e-safety.
