† call tO WOrship
The Holy One knows each sheep, calling to us by name. We hear the voice of Jesus, calling us to follow him. The Holy One sees our need, feeding us with wisdom and truth. We know the voice of Jesus, leading us to goodness and peace. The Holy One protects and guides us, showing us the way to eternal life. Let us worship our Shepherd, who calls us here. † Opening prayer
The Lord be with you. And also with you. Let us pray.
God of love and goodness, you lead us into pastures of plenty, giving us food for our bodies and nourishment for our souls. You show us the source of salvation, filling our hearts with the clean, fresh water of your love. You guide us on difficult paths, comforting us with the assurance of eternal life in your name. Help us recognize your voice, that we may be at peace in your presence, even when we are afraid. Amen.

OffertOry anthem This Joyful Eastertide .........................................................................................................................................................arr. John Ferguson
Chancel ChoirThis joyful Eastertide, away with sin and sorrow! My love, the Crucified, has sprung to life this morrow. Refrain: Had Christ, who once was slain, not burst his three-day prison, our faith had been in vain. But now has Christ arisen. My flesh in hope shall rest and for a season slum-ber till trump from east to west shall wake the dead in number. Refrain. Death’s flood has lost its chill since Jesus crossed the river. Lover of souls from ill my passing soul deliver. Refrain.
