For the BSc Applied Social Care and Health : A typical offer is A level grades of CCC
and one year's experience of working in a Social Care and Health setting (paid or
voluntary) GCSEs including English and Maths at Grade C/4
For the Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care: A typical offer is BTEC
qualifications of MPP, or A level grades of DEE. GCSE (or equivalent) English at grade C or
above
BA in Social Care and Community Practice A typical offer is A level grades of BCC GCSE
(or equivalent) English at grade C or above
Some courses will require an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check
and Occupational Health Clearance e.g. Foundation Degree
It is expected that students will demonstrate prior interest and engagement with
health and/or social care in either a voluntary, personal or working capacity.
Teaching methods include

• Independent and group study
• One-to-one supervisions

the library is available for students.
Therefore the additional costs (over and above
tuition fees) are:
