QuIIN Overview
Network of practicing pediatricians and their staff teams who use quality improvement methods to test tools, interventions, and strategies in order to improve healthcare and outcomes for children and their families
A practical working lab for pediatricians to test how improvements can be implemented in everyday pediatric practice prior to widespread dissemination
Like to be on the cutting-edge of practice innovations AAP members with an interest, or experience in quality
improvement Approximately 250 members to date

QuIIN PreSIP Project Overview
Overall Goal: Can Bright Futures be easily implemented, birth to 3,
in a busy clinical setting?Project Aims: Between February and October 2011, PreSIP practice
teams will aim to improve health supervision care for children age birth to age 3 using the guidelines set forth in Bright Futures Guidelines 3rd Edition and the Bright Futures Tool and Resource Kit (specifically focusing on the areas outlined in slide 5).
Between February and October 2011, PreSIP practice teams will aim to improve office systems (specifically focusing on areas outlined in slide 6).
