Only paid members will be eligible Following the completion of speeches and debates, ballots will be handed out to paid membersNo one may leave the room during the election (Vote must be decipherable to be counted)Submit ballots to a lockbox
Counting BallotsAdvisor has authority to open the lockbox. Advisor, a volunteer paid member, and current PMA Executive Board count ballots together
Announcement of ResultsThe executive board election results will be announced to the membership following the counting of ballots
Elections Overview
Request for RecountMembers have the right to request a recount within two weeks following the announcement of results.If only one member asks for a recount, then that member will meet with the advisor to conduct the recount in a private meeting.If multiple members request for a recount, then the recount will be held in a public meeting.
Disposal of BallotsTwo weeks following the announcement of results, all ballots will be shred.
