Monday to Thursday - 8.00am to 8.30pmFriday - 8.00am to 5.00pmSaturday - 10.00am to 3.00pm

A combined card is available from the Perth Campus Bookshop for $10. Remember to bring it when you visit the Library.

New Items Display

These new items are available for immediate loan.
Students are welcome to request new items for the collection.

Group Study Rooms

There are 6 bookable study rooms.
To book one ask at the Library Service desk.
Bookings are for 3 hours maximum.
Lots of Books & Computers

As well as books, journals, magazines, newspapers, CDs and DVDs; there are many computers available for students to use for study purposes.
Computers are free

Computers are available for study purposes, free of charge.
Log in using your user ID (04+student number) and password (Cent+date of birth).
Bookings are for a maximum of 2 hours per day – no pre-bookings.
Wireless Connection for Laptops

Printing/Photocopying

This is where you print or photocopy using your combined card. Instructions are on posters above the machines.

Adding Credit to your Card

To photocopy or print, credit needs to be added to your card. Use the Smart Loader machine to insert coins or notes.
Search the Library Catalogue

There are 2 terminals dedicated for searching the Library catalogue to find resources.
Remember to limit your search to Perth campus.

Reference Collection

The Library maintains a Reference Collection.
It contains a selection of encyclopaedias, dictionaries and atlases.
They are not for loan.
Journal/Magazine Collection

Back issues of journals and magazines are stored in boxes.
They may be borrowed for 4 weeks.

Each item is given a call number based on its subject matter so similar items are shelved together.
The call number is printed on the spine to help you find it.

We have a large DVD collection – many are course related, others are for entertainment.
Foreign Language & Travel DVDs

There are foreign language DVDS in the collection, identified with the above sticker. Other DVDs are focused on travel to Asian countries.
Course Reserve Collection

Lecturers request to have high demand items placed in this collection, such as the latest course related textbooks.
These items can only be used within the Library.

There is a Returns chute inside the library at the front desk.
Please return your items through this chute.
