applied research and management education. Since 1990, IBD’s educational programmes have fostered
economic transformation in Poland and other Central and Eastern European countries. Currently, IBD offers

The International Foundation for
Capital Market Development and
Ownership Changes – Centre for
Privatisation is established in
Warsaw.
Centre for Privatisation assists in
the set-up of a network of centres
to train managerial cadre for
economic reforms in Ukraine,
Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan.
1992 1995
Centre opens a modern training
facility in Serock, near Warsaw.

Polish Ministry of Science and
Higher Education awards IBD
the status of an academic

Centre for Privatisation becomes the
Institute for Business Development (IBD)
and launches new certified programmes,
including the Certified Institute of
Marketing (CIM) of the UK, and the
Association for Investment Management
and Research (AIMR) of the U.S.
2000
Noble Manhattan Coaching
licenses the Institute to
exclusively offer its programmes
in Poland, Belarus and Ukraine.
The Sienna Training Centre is set
up in Warsaw.
2011
The Institute changes its
name to IBD Business
School and begins to roll

especially for the Polish market (Equivalent to 180 UK Credit
Points and 90 ECTS)
Designed for professionals with busy schedules: combines in-
house learning modules and at-your-pace e-learning
12 modules in 7 sessions, one international module, Research
Methods and Master’s Project, and Personal and Leadership
Development (P&LD) sessions. Together: minimum 20 months
to complete the EMBA, maximum: 5 years
