Billing

Designed by flight charging financial experts, ATRAK–AB is a fully automated billing system that collects and processes data from surveillance, airports, radars, AFTN, meteo systems, flight data processing systems, and any other system that allows interfaces to export data. The calculation of the amounts to be actually invoiced is performed by a flexible rule engine. The engine enables the handling of customer specific conditions such as rebates, surcharges, exemptions or discounts.

It is the only proven integrated system that is able to receive flight plan data from any ATM / ATC provider. Through stringent processing and powerful reporting tools, business decisions can be accelerated. This automation leads to improved staff productivity and efficiency, accurate invoicing and a significant reduction in the billing cycle and invoice queries. The flexible and comprehensive features ensure users have complete control over the billing and flight data analysis process, enabling them to deliver a more cost effective, informed and comprehensive service to their customers and partners alike.

LAIC’s ATRAK Business planning and Modelling (ATRAK-BpM) is an innovative product that enables organisations across the aviation industry to make the best business decisions driven by operational and financial data.

ATRAK-BPMprovidesasetoftools,enablingairnavigationserviceproviders(ANSPs)to identify areas for improvement, assess operational and financial performance, and take action to improve performance, efficiency and safety by setting KPIs and using planning, forecasting and modelling tools to achieve them. The system also enables communication to relevant stakeholders what the status for their area of interest is through a modular interactive dashboard. The KPIs further help ANSPs measure theactualbenefitsof implementingvariousAviationSystemBlockUpgrade (ASBU)modules.

Our modules support a full range of data sharing and functionality, from sophisticated statistical analysis of operations (such as movement across sectors or points) to traffic forecasting, capacity planning, modelling, and performance benchmarking for airports, ANSPs,airspace, groundservices,HR,revenueandmuchmore. ATRAK-BPM is System Wide Information Management (SWIM) compliant, enablingaccess to operational aeronautical flight information so users can respond faster and more efficiently, using uniform data, offering opportunities across the whole organisation for Collaborative Decision Making (CDM).

A data-driven performance management process is essential for managing complex systems such as those in ATM, and businesses such as ANSPs and airports. The performance of every facet of ANSPs or airports can be measured, whether individually orcollectively.ATRAK-BPMplatform isdedicated tomaximising theusageofgoodquality reliable data, standardising data format so information from unrelated systems may be processed and shared efficiently. It connects different producers and users of data with a common language and single point of access.

LAIC have the expertise to provide consultancy, working closely with Airports, Airlines and ANSPs to customise ATRAK-BPM to their specific needs, accessing varioussources to enable their users to utilise key data. From the individual flight plan records it is possible to understand current activity within an airspace and use real operations as the foundation for future planning and forecasting. ATRAK - AEROnAUTICAL InFORMATIOn MAnAgEMEnT

ATRAK– Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) is designed in line with ICAO’s roadmap for transition from AIS to AIM. AIM today primarily represents evolving from the classical AIS organisational model to a SWIM compliant AIM performance-driven model in terms of organisation, workflow, data structures, electronic data provision and data exchange by using standard and commonly used data formats.

The solution is built and certified to operate within the Air Traffic Management critical environment, enabling reduced life costs and maintenance. Its modular design provides the flexibility to meet specific requirements of today while allowing for further enhancement and expansion for the requirements of tomorrow. It can achieve the goal of having “message-centric” aeronautical information and “data-centric” aeronautical packages in an integrated solution, whilst distributing the data on a larger scale and increased speed.

Traditionally, all Aeronautical Information (such as charts, flight procedures and airport, terrain and obstacle data) has existed on paper. Updating and sharing the different types of data that create this information has been a time-consuming and costly process with a high risk of error. The reduction of manual data entries and a decrease of data inconstancies over the complete aeronautical data chain is paramount for originators, through AIS to ATCOs.

ATRAK-AIM services covers preparation, processing and handling of dynamic and static data such as:

• Meteo information (weather and other conditions that impact flight planning and operations)

• Restricted areas information • Airspace use plan preparation• NOTAM services• ATCO occupancy monitoring and statistics• Integration with Eurocontrol

Our extensive experience in aeronautical data gives us a clear and complete understanding of the mission-critical environment. Manual data entry reduction, decreased data inconsistency over the complete aeronautical data chain, and efficient process management are only some of the benefits ATRAK-AIM provides.

• Adherence to Interoperability Standards (AIXM, AMXM, ANXM, WXXM, FIXM) to ensure aeronautical information facilitates exchange

• Reduced life cycle cost (LCC) and less maintenance cost due to longer life time support and less different vendors

• Reduction of potential operational difficulties and issues when migrating from AIS to AIM under expert support
