Respectful

Presenter
Presentation Notes
Follow Directions: Even if you do not know a teacher/adult and they ask you to do something you should respond respectfully the first time. Language, Volume, Tone: - RCA is a place where people from all around the state and country who want to HIRE students as soon as they graduate. Your language, volume and tone MATTER when these employers are here. Also we have almost 100 preschoolers in our building EVERY DAY, be respectful of their innocence. Be alert and aware of surroundings Again we are a professional building, wearing headphones, hoodies, or anything obstructing your view/hearing is unprofessional. Walk through the hallways like your future boss it watching. Respect Personal Space If it’s not yours don’t touch it. This includes human beings!!! No PDA it’s not professional and it make others uncomfortable

Career Ready

Presenter
Presentation Notes
Decorum “dignity or good taste that is appropriate to a specific occasion” Pay attention to your environment, the way you act in one classroom might not be the same way in another. Examples: Shouting to a peer in construction over the sound of a tool is not the same as shouting to a friend in your English class. Be in the correct location: If you ask the teacher to go to the restroom, you are going to the restroom not to the vending machine. You are where your teacher expects you to be. Safety If you are in this building it’s because you are in a career class, be smart and safe. Don’t open doors for ANYONE. EVERYONE enters the building through the doors to the cafeteria. Dress Code:
