1. “No Visit” Charge for Date of Service = $4.0M
2. Missing/Incorrect Diagnosis = $2.2M

4. Missing/Incorrect Registration = $807K

There is about $715,000 at RISK, with actionable errors for West Campus alone!

Revenue Accountability Guideline
Guideline Highlights:
• All charges must be entered within 3 business
days (72 hours) of the date of service
• Charge Champions will be responsible for charge
review and charge reconciliation, including
running their respective reports, on a daily basis
• Revenue Integrity Liaisons will perform bi-weekly
audits to ensure reconciliation is being
performed and errors are being resolved timely
and accurately

Reconciliation Workshop Important Messages
All Charge Champions & IP PCDs will be trained
• Revenue Reconciliation Workshops are SEPARATE from Epic training
• Workshops will be facilitated by Revenue Integrity Leads and their teams,
Revenue Integrity Liaisons, EpicTogether, and Epic
Workshops will be held in mid-late January 2020 (1/16/20 – 1/29/20)
• Charge Champion workshops will be located directly on West Campus
(Columbia) and be about 3-4 hours long
• Live webinars will held for IP PCDs and be about 1-2 hours long
Registration is expected to be open for workshops by the end of October
• Workshops will require completion of Core EpicTogether training prior to
workshop attendance
• Completed registration will be expected by Wednesday, November 20th
*Some individuals will be assigned to more than one workshop
