•Student Expectations•Embrace and uphold the high standards that our program sets•Step out of “Comfort Zones”!•Maintain proper military appearance and bearing•Be RESPONSIBLE!•Best effort ALWAYS….no matter the task!

•Parent Expectations•Help monitor military appearance of your cadet (uniforms and polo/khaki uniforms)•Understand consequences of failing to be in proper uniform!•Encourage your cadet as we challenge them•Help ensure timely transportation for extra-curricular practices•Assist in any fundraising or fee activities

•NOTE: Our staff will strive to minimize fund raising and fees, but a program of this size does incur some costs

•Extracurricular Competitions•Many competitions scheduled throughout the year for Raider Team, Marksmanship, and Drill Teams

•Car Parking Detail for Home Football Games•(Cadets will receive community service hour credit for participating)

•Homecoming Parade•All Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors will be marching in the homecoming parade scheduled for October 1, 2015

•Seniors will assist in organizing and monitoring turns and judging which of our JROTC Companies do the best job.

•Military Ball•Bulldog Battalion plans, organizes , and executes a formal event in-keeping with military tradition. Student leadership will plan and organize the event with supervision from the instructor cadre. All cadets will be challenged to learn and use proper etiquette and appearance for the event. The Ball is set for February 6, 2016.•Cadets demonstrating any pattern of misconduct, including military appearance throughout the year will not be allowed to participate!

•JROTC Field Trip• Cadets will participate in a field trip in the spring. The trip will be both educational and fun challenging cadets with military or leadership focused learning and social skills. This year’s destination hasn’t been determined yet. (Date is Subject to Change but tentatively scheduled for 7APR16)(Cadets who are failing ANY class will not be allowed to attend)•Cadets demonstrating any pattern of misconduct, including military appearance throughout the year will not be allowed to participate!

• Operating a program of “Excellence” does incur certain costs

•JROTC Flat Fee•Offered the flat fee for last 2 years and it seemed to work well.•Parents interested in paying a flat rate of $150 will cover costs of polo shirt, field trip, and military ball. An account is established in your cadet’s name.•If your cadet is a returning cadet and still has their Polo from last year, then the flat fee is adjusted back to $120.

•Polo Shirt = $30•Very nicely designed “dry fit” shirt with professional embroidery.•Shirt will need to be worn with khaki pants(not shorts)•Boys are also required to wear the shirt tucked in with a belt on

•Planned fundraisers•Stadium cushions @ $5.00 per seat•Wounded Warrior “Dog Tags”•World’s finest chocolate bars this fall and again in the early spring(Our best fundraising event!)•Flags for Patriot Day ($15.00)
