Private Loans
• Apply for private loans if federal aid is not
enough to cover your estimated costs
– All applications begin with the individual
lender(s) online
– Students may need a co-signer to complete
the loan application
Work Study
• Job board live July 1st
• Students have to apply for a job
– NDSU One Stop Website
• Money is earned up to the award amount,
NOT credited to student’s account in a
lump sum disbursement
Direct Deposit
• Refunds via direct deposit are received FASTER.
• No lost checks.
• No trips to the bank.
Financial Obligation Agreement
(FOA)
• FOA is an acknowledgement used to verify
that a student recognizes their financial
responsibility to the University when they
register for a course.
• Must complete before registration every
semester.
Payments
Payment MethodsAfter financial aid has been applied:
• In Person• Cash or check at NDSU One Stop
• Online (via Campus Connection)
• Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) - FREE
• Credit Card – 2.75% fee
• Payment Plan Agreements• 3 monthly payments, enroll by due date
• Third Party Payers (e.g. military assistance)
