Page 14: Welcome to St Richard’s Anglican Church

Psalm 107.1-91 O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good:for his loving mercy is for ever.

2 Let the Lord’s redeemed say so:whom he has redeemed from the hand of the enemy,

3 And gathered in from every land, from the east and from the west:from the north and from the south.

Page 15: Welcome to St Richard’s Anglican Church

4 Some went astray in the wilderness and in the desert:and found no path to an inhabited city;

5 They were hungry and thirsty:and their heart fainted within them.

6 Then they cried to the Lord in their distress:and he took them out of their trouble.

7 He led them by the right path:till they came to an inhabited city.

Page 16: Welcome to St Richard’s Anglican Church

8 Let them thank the Lord for his goodness:and for the wonders that he does for the children of Adam;

9 For he satisfies the thirsty:and fills the hungry with good things.

Homily

Page 22: Welcome to St Richard’s Anglican Church

Let us together affirm the faith of the Church

We believe in one God,the Father, the almighty,maker of heaven and earth,of all that is seen and unseen.

Page 23: Welcome to St Richard’s Anglican Church

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,the only Son of God,eternally begotten of the Father,God from God, Light from Light,true God from true God,begotten, not made,of one being with the Father;through him all things were made.

Page 24: Welcome to St Richard’s Anglican Church

For us and for our salvationhe came down from heaven,was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the virgin Maryand became truly human.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;

he suffered death and was buried.

Page 25: Welcome to St Richard’s Anglican Church

On the third day he rose againin accordance with the Scriptures;he ascended into heavenand is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again in glory to judge the living and the deadand his kingdom will have no end.

Page 26: Welcome to St Richard’s Anglican Church

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,who proceeds from the Father

and the Son,who with the Father and the Son

is worshipped and glorified,who has spoken through the

prophets.

Page 27: Welcome to St Richard’s Anglican Church

the dead,and the life of the world to come. Amen.
