Starting school can be a little strange. But once

you’ve met your teachers and had a look around your

new school, you will find things a little easier, and will

begin to settle in with your new friends. Your

teachers will make your day as interesting and as fun

as they can, and they are there to help you if you

are confused or nervous. Click the posters and

laptops in the class to help you feel more relaxed

about this exciting step!

The school operates a cashless cafeteria

system where children’s accounts can be

‘topped up’ or credited with money using an

online payment facility. A unique number will

be issued to every child enabling you to set

this up. Although P1-3 children

automatically receive free school meals, we

also have a tuck shop which operates using

the cashless system, so please take time

to set up your child’s account when details

are provided.

All children in Primary 1,2 and 3

are automatically entitled to a

free school meal every day. Children

will pre-order their lunch time meal

in class each morning. Click here for

the link to the lunch menus.

In Literacy, you’ll be learning about letters – the sounds they make and how they link together to make words. You’ll be reading and writing, speaking and listening during

Literacy activities. Click on the computer to watch a short video, or click on the objects or posters around the room for more fun

activities!
