Solar Project-Special Congregational Meeting St. John’s leadership has studied extensively the option of installing solar on our property and is ready to proceed with the project on the SE corner of our property, given congregational approval. Please make time to attend a short congregational meeting around 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, October 11 in the Worship Center. This is a project with the potential to save our congregation millions in energy costs in the coming years.

The Connections class is THIS WEEKEND, Friday

night, October 2, 6:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 3,

8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Dinner on Friday night as well as

breakfast items and lunch on Saturday will be provided.

The name of the class, Connections, identifies our desire

and mission. We want to “connect” people with Jesus Christ for their salvation, with the

St. John’s family, and people with each other. This relevant introduction of the Faith hits

the fundamental themes of the Bible in an interactive and highly interesting format. It is a

required course for everyone desiring to become a member of St. John’s, but there is no

obligation to join as an attendee of the class.

If you can’t make this class, the next one will be offered the weekend of January 29 & 30.
