Holistic Treatment Approach
The undeniable link between mind and
body makes it crucial to effectively address
both during a stay at Silvermist. Improving
one facet can drastically help to improve the
other in working toward both physical and
emotional well-being.
Clients at Silvermist benefit from an
integrated health and wellness therapeutic
regimen that includes:

Residential Treatment
Our 1:5 clinician-to-client ratio allows our residential programming to
focus on the individual and their progress with their therapist, while at
the same time creating a sense of community and camaraderie.
Silvermist takes a two-phase approach to helping young adults stabilize
their addictive behaviors, understand the issues at the core of the
addiction and provide a clear path to lifelong recovery in adulthood.
Phase I: Evidence-Based Treatment
A typical day in Phase I may include group therapy, personal time for
journaling or reflection, sober living skills classes and a yoga class
or other recreational activity. In addition to evidence-based addiction
treatment practices and modalities, we provide complementary holistic
therapies designed to help heal mind, body and soul and encourage
an overall healthy lifestyle, free of the influence of drugs and alcohol.

Phase II: Building Life Skills
As clients progress through treatment and build a foundation in recovery,
the program evolves into a more moderate level of structure with a
complementary life skills focus.
Phase II allows for an opportunity to build confidence in sobriety by teaching
clients how to cope with life’s challenges free from substance use.
Some of the specific life skills we review include:
> Career counseling
> Financial counseling
> Education and support for sexual health
> Counseling in daily life skills
> Motivational enhancement counseling
Clients in Phase II experience additional freedoms not afforded to clients
in Phase I, allowing them to begin using the sober skills
they’ve learned as they prepare for discharge from
the program and a return home.

The foundation of our program is our expert
and highly committed staff. Our clinical staff
is licensed and credentialed and experienced
in addiction treatment and multiple treatment
modalities, allowing them to work with
each young adult client in developing an
individualized treatment plan.
Our support staff also possess a wealth of
experience and enjoy interacting with clients
to help them get the most from their Silvermist
experience.

The Silvermist Campus
Silvermist offers three private residences, each uniquely designed to
provide a therapeutic experience in the comfort of a home setting.

The Men’s Residence
Housing up to nine clients, the Men’s Residence features exposed wood beams,
soaring ceilings, windows facing the expansive property, well-appointed bedrooms
and a gourmet kitchen. A second floor loft provides the perfect vantage point
to overlook the great room while journaling or enjoying a book. The lower level
includes a movie theater and large recreation area.
The Women’s Residence
Formerly an Amish barn built in the 1800s, the Women’s Residence was recently
remodeled to include modern amenities and now houses up to five clients. With a
gourmet kitchen, relaxed seating area and comfortable bedrooms, this residence
provides a unique and comfortable setting for women to recover together and
build a sober community.
The Cabin
While staying at the Cabin, Phase II clients are introduced to some of the
independent living skills they will need when they leave. Just steps away from
the main residence, our rustic log cabin features a cozy loft, bright kitchen and
comfortably appointed bedrooms.
