Homework• Practice Spelling Words: Online practice of
spelling words can be found at
www.spellingcity.com. Click find a list, then search
by zip code 64078, then click Sheri Capper.
• Weekly Reading Booklog: Students are
encouraged to read and record their reading on the
reading log. Students will receive a reading log on
the last day of each week. Students need return
their reading log on the final day of the week.
• Student may fill out the reading log but an
adult must sign it.
• Math Homework is sent home on Tuesday and
needs to be return on the last day of the week.

Library Expectations
• We will have weekly classroom visits
with a library lesson and check out.
• Students will be able to return books
on a daily basis.

afternoon.• Easy to open snacks that do not
require a fork or spoon.• Water bottles with sports tops are
encouraged.• Birthday snacks must be from the

Newsletter• Newsletters are sent home via email on the
last day of last day of the week with
important weekly and monthly information.
• Please check your child’s backpack nightly
for important information.
• Please refer to the teachers weebly website
for newsletters, spelling words, sight words
etc.
