AN INTRODUCTORY COURSE IN BUSINESS AND PHILANTHROPY DESIGNED FOR

STUDENTS OF ALL AGES:

As you may be aware, there is a great need for assistance for children in many areas of today’s modern world. The major

problem is that it is mostly money that is the basis of the need, for without it, no program can be implemented.

My Charity 4 Kids/Volunteer One is very proud to make available several very appealing ways to

educate children and adults in the fields of Business & Philanthropy.

These Volunteer Opportunities are designed for students; youth leaders; clubs; national sororities and

fraternities. We offer several levels: •Elementary •High School •University.

A “BASIC” COURSE IN PHILANTHROPY IS FREE. HOWEVER, DEPENDING ON THE COURSE LEVEL THERE’S A MINIMAL FEE

Thanks so much for joining our Cards 4 Kids program! Please read this thoroughly and visit our

website to get some ideas of the many different types of cards you can make. Below is a list of places

that our Cards 4 Kids Volunteers have gone to get supplies:

All of these stores have special departments for Arts & Crafts. PERFECT for creating cards for the

program! Most of them are reasonably priced.

Here’s a list of cards that you can make:

“Good Luck!” Cards Birthday Cards Positive Affirmations (You can do it!; You’re great!; Never Give up!; We’re here for you!; We

Love you!; etc. Be creative!) Cheer Up! Cards Seasonal Cards (Happy Spring! Happy Summer!) Holiday Cards (Merry Christmas, Happy Halloween, Valentine’s Day, Happy Easter, etc.!) Cards in different languages! (Make sure you translate it underneath!)

Note: We found that it is best to stay away from “Get Well Soon” type cards. The reason being we do not want the children/people to think or focus on “Why” they are at the Hospital. So, No “Get Well!” Cards! Thank you for understanding!

Here are some IMPORTANT key points & FAQ Answers about the program:

All cards to be mailed to our home office at: My Charity 4 Kids/Volunteer One 9713 SW 2nd Street Miami, FL 33174

Finished cards will be sorted and given to children and families in need. If you have a specific person/place you would like give your card to, please let us know!

Everyone must take before and after pictures of the project (Email us the Photos!)

We would love to have everyone send in a video clip of themselves!

Please provide us with the following information if you have not already! o Name o Phone Number- We need to speak with you! =D o School, Company, Church, Organization, Club, etc. o City/State o “I’m requesting Community Service Hours with a Certificate of Completion!”

SPECIAL NOTE! Please make at least 1 card FOR Savannah so she can put them on her “Wall of Friends”! She loves receiving cards! So get your supplies and be creative! Take pictures of the Before and After so we can showcase them on our website! 1HR/Community Service= How many Cards?
