Making the best of Middle School

Ponce de Leon Middle is a safe, family oriented

school. Our staff is trained in helping our incoming

students and their parents make the most of their

middle school experience. Every student at Ponce

has a counselor, administrator and team of

teachers assigned to them that can help to make

Ponce an unforgettable and positive experience.

Here are tips to help you get ready.

1. It is okay to be nervous. Your classmates are

nervous as well. All administrators, counselors

and teachers will be outside of your classrooms

and ready to help.

2. Work on getting organized. All students will

receive a school planner.

3. Choose your friends wisely.

4. Attendance counts.

5. Good behavior directly impacts your opportunity

for success.

6. Do not let problems build up. Ask for help.
