Welcome to Planning Center Online! Planning Center is an online system to help churches schedule team members, organize services and streamline communication. We believe that this system will greatly aid the speed and manner in which we communicate details for our weekly services. Once you have attended this initial training meeting, you will receive an email with the subject line: Welcome to Planning Center Online.

You will be able to login and set your password by clicking on the word here.

Choose a password and type it into the two boxes labeled Choose your password and Confirm your password. Then click on the blue Set Your Password button.

Next, you will see the “My Schedule” portion of PCO which includes all the service dates and times for which you are scheduled between now and the end of December 2016. Once you click Accept, you will be able to see the service details for that weekend. Simply click on the date. (Please note that service details may not be uploaded until the week before.)

You will also receive a follow-up email with the service dates and times for which you have been scheduled. This email will give you another opportunity to either accept or decline each date for which you are scheduled. Please decline only if you have a scheduling conflict and you won’t be able to serve on the given weekend. Otherwise, click the green Accept button. The plan for each weekend, including service details, will look similar to the following:

Here you can see the run order (order of service), including the worship song list (Our God, Holy Spirit, Forever, This I Believe, etc.). Songs titles are in blue type. To practice and prepare for the weekend, place your cursor arrow over the rehearse button on the right side of the screen.

As you do, a drop down menu will appear. Choose Media Player. For each song, you will see two audio (mp3) files. The one labeled (Song) is a demonstration of the song including the lead vocals. The one labeled (Track) is the accompaniment track without the lead vocals. To listen using the opened media player, simply click on a song title (i.e. Our God.mp3). (Do NOT click on the button.) To download a song to your computer or personal listening device, click on the button next to the song title and follow the given prompts.

Another way to download songs is to place your cursor arrow over the gray button to the right of each song title on the opening screen.

As you do, a drop down menu will appear revealing all of the attachments pertaining to that song title.

Click on the song title you wish to download and follow the given prompts.

You will also note that you can download Chord Charts (pdf), song mp3s, and sometimes links to tutorial videos on youtube.

I will have the content for each weekend service uploaded to PCO by the Tuesday before (if not earlier). You will receive a midweek email reminding you that you are scheduled to serve and giving you a link to the weekend content. This email will also give you the option to accept or decline, as before. If you have a scheduling conflict, please click Decline to alert me of your absence. You can access your schedule and weekend content anytime by going to www.planningcenteronline.com and logging in using your user name and password. This will take you to the My Schedule screen. Planning Center also has a free app for use on most personal devices (search planning center services, or planning center music stand for iPad). You can access the songs, charts, and videos using this app. Songs can be accessed using the Media Player tab. Lyric sheets and tutorial videos can be accessed using the Attachments tab.
