Peter: II Peter 3:10-14 – “looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God” (NKJ) “as you look forward to the day of the Lord and

speed its coming” (NIV) “looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of

the day of God (ASV) Paul: I Corinthians 16:21-24 – “O Lord,

come!” John: Revelations 22:20-21 – “Even so,

come, Lord Jesus!”

We Must Be Looking Forward

hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ”

I Thessalonians 5:2-6 – “Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober”

Luke 21:34-36 – “watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy”

We Must Be Looking Forward Mark 13:32-37 – “Watch therefore, for

you do not know when the master is coming”

Matthew 24:45-51 – “evil servant says in his heart, My master is delaying his coming”

Matthew 25:1-13 – “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming”

present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us”

Revelation 21:2-4 – “God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying”

So Much to Be Looking Forward To An End to Suffering, Disappointments, & Death Being in the Presence of God &

Jesus John 14:1-6 – “I will come again and

receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also”

Revelation 22:3-5 – “They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light”

So Much to Be Looking Forward To

An End to Suffering, Disappointments, & Death Being in the Presence of God & Jesus Living Eternally in Heaven

John 5:24-27 – “he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life”

I Corinthians 15:54-58 – “Death is swallowed up in victory”

Revelations 22:12-14 – “Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life”

Conclusions

Jesus is Coming Our Savior is coming back to reward the

faithful We must look forward to His Coming

NOW, we must make preparations & be watchful in all things

We have so much to look forward to with His coming Romans 6:23 – “the gift of God is eternal

life in Christ Jesus our Lord”
