God, Our Father

God reveals Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Who is God the Father?

The Bible doesn’t seek to prove the existence of God, it simply states “God” with the supposition that He exists and is the center of ALL Things.

Names of God

Each of these names came out of their encounter with God. And God gladly accepts their description of who He is.

But how does God describe and introduce Himself? How does He want to be known?

When Jesus introduced God, he called Him

1. Looking at the list above, which of the characteristic is totally strange to you? Which are the ones that you are most familiar with?

2. Compare the familiar ones with others in your small group, which are the similar ones? Why do you think they are the same or not the same?

3. Every person wants to be known for who they are, so does God. How should our walk with God deepen in order to know Him beyond those characteristics we are familiar with?

4. What is the difference between a mate and a maid? How is that projected towards our walk with God?

The Father Heart of God

Events Coming Up

During the retreat, participants will be led to a deeper level of intimacy with God our Father. Participants will be encouraged to share their own journey in small groups of twos/threes. All sharings will be kept confidential. As the Holy Spirit illuminates the “seeds and roots” in our hearts, he also shows us how to uproot and replace them with truths and practical actions.
