Departure: No later than 13:30.

Please meet us at 13:10 at "Höllin" venue parking lot. We will be driving in 4 different buses so find a seat in one of them. Return: The tour will end at Hof at 19:00.

Description Get to know the best of Mývatn, what to see and do, where to stay and what to eat. What do you prefer to do in the Northern Lights Capital of Iceland, surrounded by volca-noes, mesmerizing nature and unworldly landscapes?

We will split the group in two, so please let us know which tour you want to do,

1. Meet the Locals or 2. Wonders of Mývatn.

For those who choose the “Meet the Locals” tour, bring your bathing suit and towel if you want to take a bath at the Mývatn Nature Baths. Be dressed according to weather.

15:55-16:20 4. Visit Vogafjós Farm Resort, see accommodation and taste “fresh from farm” goodies. Mýflug introduction.

15:55-16:10 4. Visit Hverir/Námaskarð - unique wasteland of pools of boiling mud, hot springs and hissing chimneys.

16:30-17:30 5. Enjoy a bath at Mývatn Nature Baths.

16:20-16:35 5. Visit the Mývatn Nature Baths for a short introduction.

17:40-18:00 6. Sel Hótel Inspection. 16:45-17:10 6. Visit Vogafjós Farm Resort, see accommodation and taste “fresh from farm” goodies. Mýflug introduction.

18:00 7. Return to Akureyri. 17:20 - 17:35 7. Visit Dimmuborgir and the Yule Lads.

19:00 8. Arrive at Hof. 17:45 - 18:00 8. Visit Skútustaðir Pseudo Craters, Sel Hótel, inspection.

18:00 9. Return to Akureyri.

19:00 10. Arrive at Hof.
