Compass, protractor, ruler (12 inch), One graph book. Items will be checked the second week of school. These items must be in class every day.

Florida End-of-Course (EOC) AssessmentsIn Spring of 2013 geometry students will be

tested by the Florida EOC Assessment Unit. This assessment will be implemented to increase students’ achievement and improve college and career readiness.

GEOMETRY 2013: End of CourseWho will be tested in Spring 2013?All students enrolled in and completing the

following courses:• Geometry – 1206310• Geometry Honors – 1206320 Any student who completed one of the above

courses during the 2012-13 school year must take the

Geometry EOC Assessment.

GEOMETRY 2013: End of CourseHow will students take the test?• The Geometry EOC Assessment will be

delivered via a computer-based test (CBT) platform.

• Paper-based versions (regular print and braille) will be provided for students with disabilities who

require allowable accommodations, as specified in their Individual Educational Plans (IEPs) or Section

504 plans.

GEOMETRY EOC TESTINGPractice TestParents and students can check out the Geometry

EOC Assessment computer-based practice test, called an ePAT. This tool is available online at www.FLAssessments.com/ePAT. Instructions for

downloading the installer software and ePAT are also located on this site. Students are required to

participate in a practice test at their school prior to testing.

$29.50 per month. An excellent site for geometry. It will answer your posted question(s) within minutes. Students can also google several mathematics websites for assistance.

Students will complete online geometry activities, quizzes and tests on the website www.quia.com, (Students have their username and password)

Students will attend Cognitive Tutor labs on a weekly basis.
