When you enter the classroom, immediately gather the materials you will need for the day. Be in your assigned seat and working on the Literacy Link as soon as you have what you need.

Guideline #1

The Literacy Link will either be on the blackboard or the overhead.

As soon as you walk in, please take the first few minutes to complete the assignment in your classwork section in your notebook.

Please write the date at the top of each page of your notebook.

Bring ALL your books and materials to class AND take them with you when you leave (except the materials that DO NOT leave the classroom – more on that later!).
