Focus Areas - Wesley Serve God Worship God Evangelism – meet needs of & teaching outside our walls Minister to Auburn Become more visible on campus and around town Making sure as many people as possible know what AWF

is Openness to minorities Welcome other denominations Plan events with other denominations Welcome new people Outreach and really receive those we outreach to Focus on being open to all who come through the door,

not just the familiar faces Be concerned/welcoming of new folks at worship – put

their needs above your own Be more welcoming & really push that as a goal Be welcoming, not scary Welcome visitors/semi-regulars with goal to create a

Christian family Open doors to “outsiders” Helping folks who come to worship feel comfortable

enough to come to other stuff, too Getting involved in more than just worship Involve others outside leadership team People like to do stuff – ask

Communication Fewer announcements Make Wesley one whole community Be more unified – not forming groups or circles of

friends but reaching out Hospitality-Everyone feeling as they ‘belong’ in the
