conflict.Thelandwasdeededtothestate

ofIndianain1965bythefederalGeneral

ServicesAdministration.Wildlifemanagement

beganatthattime.

Mostrevenuesusedinlandacquisition,

development,operationandmaintenanceof

KingsburyFishandWildlifeAreaarederived

fromthesaleofhunting,fishingandtrapping

licenses.Fundsarealsoreceivedfromthe

federalPittman-RobertsonandDingell-Johnson

programstoaidfishandwildliferestoration.

Thesefundsarederivedfromtaxesleviedon

sporthuntingandfishingequipment.Indiana

hunters,anglersandtrappersareproudto

providethispropertyfortheenjoymentofall.

TARGETING EdUcATION Hands-on,live-fireexperienceisan

importantcomponentofhunterandfirearm

safetyeducation.TheIndianaDepartment

ofNaturalResourcesencourageshuntersto

practiceshootingtoimprovesafety,effective
