PROCESS FOR ENTERING CLASSES
Log into Student Access, not Family Access. If you don’t have your student access password, go to the HUHS homepage, click on Student Access link, and follow the prompt to get your new password.
Click on Courses for 2011 – 2012. Select the Update Request tab. Enter courses from the Courses Available (left) and add
them to the Courses Requested (right) side. Keep track of credits entered under credits at the top right of the page.
Required courses will already be entered. Most students will be selecting 7 credits. If you choose more
than 7 credits, please fill out an overload form. Click on the Alternate tab and enter 2 credits of alternate
classes. You are finished! Simply logout and the program will
automatically save it for you. You may enter your course selections from February 7 – 11.
ONLINE COURSE INFORMATION Check your tan Course Offerings sheet for online course
options. If choosing to take an online course, complete the
Online Learning Readiness Survey found on the Counseling Department webpage.
Choosing an online course does not require that you exceed 7 credits.
If you select more than 7 credits, an overload form is required.
Online courses are not for everyone. Students need to be self-advocates, independent learners, highly motivated, and have academic success in that subject area.
All online course numbers end with an “O.” A complete listing of online classes is available on the
Counseling Department Webpage under the Course Registration tab.
