WELCOME TO JOSREN VENTURES COMPANY LIMITED, GHANA PROFILE Slide 2 HISTORY Josren Ventures Company Limited (JVC) is a Private Limited Liability Company established in January 1997 and duly registered with the Registrar Generals Department. JVC was founded by Mr. Joseph Quashie, its current CEO, to meet the growing needs of the construction and power generation industries in Ghana. The Company is headquartered in Takoradi but its main office is based in Tema. The Companys current operational portfolio includes the following services: General Engineering Services Construction of Plant and Installation of Equipment Maintenance of Plant and Equipment Sales and Distribution of General Engineering Materials Manufacturer & Manufacturer's Representative Logistic Services and Crane Operations Slide 3 HISTORY HISTORY Almost fifteen years since its inception as an indigenous Ghanaian company, JVC has developed rapidly from a small venture with 20 employees operating in a small container office to become a trustworthy and popular actor and employer in the construction business, with a current workforce of about 300 employees. It is now widely recognized by its peers for its competence both nationally and internationally Indeed, the Company can pride itself in the successful execution of numerous general engineering projects here in Ghana, in various sectors of the economy such as energy, mining, oil and gas and water distribution. For example in recent years, JVC has been a key partner of Volta River Authority (VRA) and other companies in the construction of the Takoradi and Tema Thermal Power Plants and has carried out the construction of tanks and pipelines and other mechanical works for Newmont Ghana Gold Limited (NGGL) at the Ahafo Mines in the Brong Ahafo Region. Slide 4 HISTORY The Company recently launched a new service under the JVC LOGISTICS department providing logistic and haulage services to major stakeholders in the construction industry. On an international scale, JVC has executed major construction projects in the energy sector in West Africa (Benin, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Togo). It has officially opened another branch in Sierra Leone and is in the process of expanding its sub regional presence in other African countries. Construction of a 900m demineralized water tank for the Tema Thermal Power Complex in Tema. Construction of 60-ton gantry crane structures for Tema Thermal (1) Power Plant (TT1PP) for Volta River Authority in Tema, Ghana. Mechanical Installation works for 126 MW GE Gas Turbine for Tema-Cenit Thermal Power Plant for GTG Services in Tema, Ghana. Civil Works and Construction of Old Koforidua 33 kV substation for Jacobsen Elektro AS, Ghana. Slide 21 COMPLETED PROJECTS GHANA Installation of a gas pipeline and equipment for the Tema Thermal Power Project (2). The project was completed in August 2011. Subcontractor for S&W Energy Solutions for the construction of a 132 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant for Volta River Authority in Aboadze, Ghana. Slide 22 COMPLETED PROJECTS WEST AFRICA Benin: Mechanical, Electrical and Civil installation of Wrtsil Diesel Engine Power Plants in Parakou, Natitingou and Porto Novo of a total capacity of 32 MW. Togo: Mechanical installation of a 100 MW Wrtsil Power Plant in Lome. Nigeria: Electrical and Mechanical installation of an 8.5 MW Wrtsil Power Plant for Nestle in Agbara. Sierra Leone: Electrical and Mechanical installation of a 15 MW Power Plant for Jacobsen Electro in Freetown as well as an EPC for storage tank facilities for the site. Slide 23 WEST AFRICA Sierra Leone: Construction of a 2000m3 Fire Water Tank for Total Limited and two 500m3 Palm Oil Tanks for Cosmoline Limited in Freetown, Sierra Leone. These projects were completed in May/June 2012. Sierra Leone: Piping works and Mechanical supervision for a 14.4MW USP & E Power Plant for London Mining in Marampa, Sierra Leone. The project was completed in 2011. COMPLETED PROJECTS Slide 24 JVC LOGISTICS Due to the rapidly developing energy, construction and oil industry in Ghana, there is an increasing demand for tailor-made transportation and logistics solutions in Ghana. JVC Logistics was created in April 2011 to meet this growing demand. The mission of JVC Logistics falls directly in line with JVC Limited which is to provide excellent and efficient transport and haulage services to all our customers. To achieve this, a team of experienced professionals in all areas pertaining to Logistics have been put together. The core activities being undertaken presently by JVC Logistics is the haulage of cement for GHACEM Company Ltd to various destinations across the length and breadth of the country and the rental of heavy and light duty equipment for construction projects. Slide 25 JVC LOGISTICS For the next five years, JVC Logistics has a service agreement in place to haul Fifty thousand (50,000) tons of cement from Tema to Akosombo and Thirty eight thousand (38,000) tons of cement from Tema to Kumasi per annum. Our turnaround time is unmatched in the industry. This is simply because we have experienced crane operators and forklift operators who are always on standby at the point of discharge or loading of the cargo at all our depots and/or destinations which strongly minimizes the discharging or loading process for the benefit of our clients. Slide 26 JVC LOGISTICS After less than one year of operations, when it started with a modest fleet of six trucks, JVC Logistics acquired an additional ten brand new trucks to consolidate its truck fleet and enhance its service providing capacity. In addition to these transportation services for our clientele, we have a wide range of heavy machinery and equipment such as cranes, low bed and flatbed trucks available for rent on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis depending on the needs of our clients and at very competitive prices.
