Welcome to Holy Spirit Lutheran!
Thank you for worshiping with us today. Whether you are a member, a
regular guest or a newcomer, we are happy to have you with us. The people
and pastors of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church are committed to meeting you
wherever you are on your journey in faith. If you are visiting and would like
to know more about our church and our faith, please fill out the Connection
Card in the back of the chair in front of you and place it in the offering plate.
COMMUNION PROCEDURES
Everyone who believes that Jesus Christ is truly present in the sacrament and
sincerely wishes to commune with Him is welcome to participate. Children may
come forward for a blessing. When you receive the wafer, you may dip it into
the wine (red) or grape juice (white). Gluten Free wafer available upon request.
If you would like to participate in the sacraments but are unable to come
forward, please inform an usher and communion will be brought to you.
EVERYONE IS INVITED FOR REFRESHMENTS out on the patio. Please take a
moment to share greetings and joy with one another. Make some new friends by
introducing yourself to others.
BIBLE ACTIVITY BAGS AVAILABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN during the worship
service. Please ask the ushers for a bag. At the end of the service, return it to the
usher so a child at another service can use the Bible Bag.

Sunday Adult Discussion Group/Adult Bible Study
Sunday Adult Discussion: In this edition of Headlines and Him we are
weighing compassion and the law of land as played out in the recent
separation of families at our southern border with Mexico. As citizens and
as Christians, how do we strike a balance between love and law. Join us
Sunday in Learning Center room 208 at 9:30 for a biblically based
discussion.
Adult Bible Study Class: We meet Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM in room
203 of the Learning Center. We are currently learning about the Old and
New Testament through the book of Hebrews.
Our Sympathy
We Extend Our Prayers and Sympathy to Julia Soistman and her family upon
the death of Julia’s husband Elmer “Al” Soistman on June 13. The memorial
service will be June 30, 1:00 PM at HSLC. Donations in Al’s memory can be
made to the Al Soistman Memorial Fund at HSLC. Your donation can be
made by check or online at www.hslcjuno.org/donate. Login or use the one
time donation and select Al Soistman Memorial Fund in the dropdown. His
full story can be read at www.allcounty.com.
Attention All Men!
Is Jesus The Only Way? This is the question we will be discussing on
Wednesday mornings 7 AM and evenings 6 PM, starting this Wednesday,
June 26. We would love to have you come and join us. Meet some great
guys and enjoy lively faith-based discussion.
