Computer Use in the Library• The internet is for school related use only. Doing personal work

such as email, chat rooms, maintaining your own web site, games, music, etc. is not appropriate at school because of the limited number of computers available for library research.

• Typing and printing papers is allowed. You can use a floppy disc to save documents or save to your folder on the student server. Floppy discs are on sale for $1.00 at the front counter. Printing costs $0.10 per page. Pick p your printing at the front library counter.

• When you are done, log off. Go to the start button and select log off. Then bring the computer card back to the front counter.

• If you are in the library with your teacher using the computer for a class project, the teacher will supervise you. You do not need to “check out” a computer from the librarian.

• Library staff will accept up to 3 students to use computers during a school day; without teacher supervision.

• Middle school and High school faculty members are requested to schedule their classes to come to the library to use the computers to complete assignments throughout the year.

password is your student Id number. When you log in you have access to a student folder that

has the same name as your login name.Saving to this folder allows you to retrieve this information from anywhere on campus. The space is limited so you may need to delete unused documents from time to time (you can copy them to a disk if you like ). All files will be deleted at the end of the school year.
